As a mum of two, I know how quickly children grow up and just how precious their early years are. My interest in baby life-casting was kindled after the birth of my own children. We treasure their castings that we had done when they were younger. I wanted to help others have something to treasure from their own children’s precious younger years.

I specialise in 3D baby hand and feet casting and quilled paperart. When both are integrated together we can create a truly special piece.

How are castings taken?
Moulds are created using impression powder called alginate, a seaweed based material entirely safe to use on even the most delicate skin. It is both non-toxic and biodegradable. This product is widely used in the Dental Industry. It allows the moulds to be taken quickly, giving detailed casts. The powder only takes a couple of minutes to set. And that’s it! It’s now our job to complete an impressive product. Each frame is unique and can be customised by choosing an array of finishes and complementary frames. Our casting techniques are safe and gentle for children right from birth.
